Some projects are never meant to be finished. I am convinced that the socks I knit for Nate fall into this category. He is home. He loves the rainbow socks - they fit him well. Unfortunately the 3 colour Koigu socks which are stranded, as I mentioned earlier, do not fit him..........not even close. I guess I should have known this. After all, they really didn't fit me either!!!
So now the question is to rip, or not to rip. If I don't rip, I have to find someone with really small feet. Nathan really does like these socks however, so I guess I will have to rip them. Oh well, like Belinda has often reminded me, this means more knitting for my buck!!! I will have to increase the number of stitches from 78 (which was already adjusted) to about 86. Yikes - these will take forever. I wish Bel was here to help me rip like she did the last time. Think I'll start later today though - I still have some knitting to finish on the 2nd sock of the Fibre Artist socks.
I'm also dreaming about another colour-way for my linen sweater. Here is a picture of it, which has been posted by me before, but on another weblog which is now defunct. The matching camisole is something that I might not make again - have to see because it really increases the amount of yarn needed.
Anyway, the new colour-way is in blues, greens and purples (maybe a touch of pink). I actually saw these colours in the Louet yarn, but I'm not certain that I want to make the sweater identically. Have to dream about it some more, I guess.
That's about it for now.....later.

Wow! Those sweaters are gorgeous!!! I want to try one! Ive never seen any like that before. Love the title of your blog, too!
