Capital or is it Capitol?

Today we are off to Ottawa for a few days.  A short break to my most favourite city in Ontario.

We are planning to have dinner with friends on Friday night, and on Saturday we are going to visit Nathan in Montreal.  I made him a whole brisket, some noodle pudding and chopped liver.  I also managed to find a whole carton of the crackers which he loves.  What a good mother I am.

Oh yes, and as a little tease, I am also going to show you the most recent addition to my stash.  I bought it over the internet, which I usually don't like to do with yarn.  It is Peruvian Highland Silk, and I purchased it from Elann.  Gorgeous colours.  Remember yesterday I was so down because there was no colour around here?  Promise not to be jealous .....  Well this little package really brightened my day. (Sorry about the plastic bag, but it is packed and ready for our car trip)  Be back on Sunday.
